Top Must Do in Seoul (Part 1)

I want to share with you some of my favourites places in Seoul. I hope you wear good shoes and have a nice camera … Let’s go ! Here’s what I recommend you to do while you are in South Koea’s capital.

#1 Gyeongbokgung Palace (경복궁)

The Gyeongbokgung Palace (Northern Palace)  is the biggest and the largest of all five palaces (Ligne 3-Anguk Exit 2). Gyeongbokgung Palace is representative of the Joseon Dynasty and it’s a perfect place for picnic and meeting friends . I really recommendto go see the King’s statue, inventor od the actual korean language. This golden statie is a symbol of the city of Seoul.

#2 Gwangjan Market (광장시장)

Let’s try some korean food ! When you will  arrive in Seoul, the first thing that might surprised you will be the food. It’s really different from European food, more spicy and with more seafood. There is numerous covered markets trough the city, Gwangjang market (Ligne 2- Euljiro 4(sa)-ga exit 4) has different sectors : clothes, food, jewels,…..You can spend a whole afternoon in there !

#3 Cat’s Café

In Seoul, you have to go and try a cat café, it’s a place where you buy a drink and you can go play, pet and observe cats. It’s really popular in Seoul. The same concept exists for dogs. I loved it, it’s really popular in Asia (having pets are more difficult (space, price) than Europe for example). I spent 3 hours in there XD. The drinks are not that expensive so it’s a good way to take a break.

Here is a little overview of the city and that will make you want to go there even more (source : Kyobok koo).
