Tea Time in Oxford

Would you fancy a cup of Tea? If you are like me a real tea lover you will need to find a good place in Oxford. I tried Nero cofee shop or even Prêt à manger but it was not that good or deserved the price.

The Vaults and Garden

I foud a really nice Tea place named The Vaults and Garden and I realy recommend you to go try out their specialities. It’s a really nice place near the city center and the covered market. It’s a 5-minutes walk from Magdalen street and near High street at the level of the University Church of StMary the Virgin.

Only Tea ?

You can drink nice Tea or herbal, different type of coffee and hot chocolate. With your drink it’s possible to eat homemade and healthy cakes, toasts and scones. It’s better to go on their website to see what they offer. They also propose homemade traditional English breakfast and even brunchs.

Recommendation

If there is a tea in The Vaults and Garden that I will recommend you it will be the Darjeeling. The fresh homemade fruits scones with butter or raspberry jelly are a nice treats to go with it. If you never tried a scone or if you only ate one in France you must taste one in England they are really good.

Little plus

You will have the opportunity to drink inside or outside with a view on the Radcliffe library. I became found of this place and it become an habit to go there after a class or during the weekend.
