Kopenhagen, First travel
This semester in Gothenburg just started and I want to make the most of it so, with some friends we went on a little trip: three days in Kopenhagen. We woke up at 5am to get ready and catch the Swebus at Centralstation. We were ready for a 5-hours ride to Kopenhagen. Everybody was really sleepy, it’s always hard for me to travel by bus because I have moving sickness (air-sea-transport) so I couldn’t sleep at all.
Friday// We arrived in Kopenhagen at 12:00 near the centralstation, our hotel was really near but we decided to see the neighbourhood first to find a place to eat. At 2pm we finally started to visit the city even if it was rainy and windy.
Saturday// The group woke up early again to enjoy the city with daylight as much as possible. I really wanted to visit the :
- Rosenburg castle,
- Round tower (360° view of the city) and the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. The weather was much nicer in the morning than in the late afternoon we had rain again.
Sunday// This was our last day in Kopenhagen. The little mermaid is a symbol of the city just as much as the colored houses in the port. So for our last day we walked along the water and visited the historical part of the city.
Three days in Kopenhagen, three days of dicoveries, three days of fun and it was worth it even the rain and the wind didn’t stop us. I really liked the architecture of the buildings, the combination of colours on the roofs, the atmosphere and the personality of each neighbourhoods. Good job Kopenhagen!
